Today (1/21), I responded to a community call after #ICE fired down a residential street as children headed to school. When I demanded accountability, I faced law enforcement aggression. As traumatic as it was, I’m grateful it was me and not a community member. #CA41 #Protest

Then came my unlawful arrest at the Bell City Council meeting. Same corruption. Same abuse of power. Elected officials and law enforcement there also work with ICE, and they did not want public comment on the record. When the community speaks, it exposes their corruption.

In January 2026, I attended an Alhambra City Council meeting where the community packed the room to confront ICE terrorizing our city.

2/04/2026 - LAUSD School Walkout. It’s empowering to witness young people, who have consistently been at the forefront of civil rights struggles, taking to the streets in Los Angeles to denounce ICE. They know this is wrong, and they’re done staying quiet.

Children have been kidnapped. Families separated. Mothers sexually abused. Father's demonized. Communities robbed of valuable members. Citizens murdered in broad daylight. Inhumane treatment of those held hostage in ICE detention centers. And the list goes on.

🚨 BREAKING: Shonique Williams (@ShoniqueForCA41) just made her congressional ad spending minutes where she appears to be obstructing ICE agents in the California area. She claims that she "works within the legal system to understand it". But that doesn't appear to be working out very well for Shonique. Court records show Williams was arrested in late 2014 on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon or by force to cause great bodily injury. She was later convicted by a jury of a felony. Williams confirmed the conviction in an interview and said she served one year. I think that obstructing federal agents is a quick way to get yourself back in jail.
