I love Chuck Norris as much as the next guy but to be fair Walker Texas Ranger probably overestimated the number of times in adult life I am able to solve a problem by roundhouse kicking it in the face.

Chuck Norris held a 183-10-2 record and was a 6x world champion in full contact bare knuckle karate. On top of that, he beat heavyweight kickboxing world champion Joe Lewis 3 consecutive times and also had a brutal sparring match with undefeated kickboxing world champion, Bill Superfoot Wallace, that lasted an hour and a half. According to Wallace, they practically stalemated and "beat the crap out of each other". Chuck was trained in kickboxing/boxing by Benny The Jet Urquidez and was also trained in BJJ by the Gracies and Machados for 20 years. Even being able to submit Carlos Machado himself on occasion. Chuck had a 315 Ibs bench press at 180 lbs bodyweight and was said to have a grip back in the day that nobody could escape from because he was so strong. Even Jean Claude Van Damme said he'd never fight Chuck Norris, despite being a kickboxing world champion himself. Chuck held a 10th degree black belt in Chun Kuk Do, a 9th degree black belt in Tang Soo Do, an 8th degree black belt in Taekwondo, a 5th degree black belt in Karate, a 3rd degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and a black belt in Judo. Rest in peace, Chuck!

@malphier In all the hype videos of open world and other features in CD before release, story was the least represented, so I am expecting more of a sandbox gameplay, with story as the least important.

You should play Crimson Desert if you really like the pacing and exploration aspects of Red Dead Redemption 2. Just don't go expecting the same narrative focus. It has none. If you're the type of person who likes to play RDR2 for the exploration, if you like to "live in the world" and take it slow, like those people who do jobs, hunt, bounties and stuff and take their time, if you like to greet people on the streets and you intentionally walk slowly just to act like a normal person, you're gonna have a blast with the game.

For those of you not familiar. The A-10 Warthog is the ugliest, most absurdly beautiful killing machine to ever take flight. A flying chunk of titanium molded around a gatlin gun style cannon; the equally absurd 30mm GAU-8. It commands the adoration of troops on the ground as the sound of its unmistakable mating call the “brrrrrrp” overhead means several enemy fighters have been neutralized. It flies low and slow delivering death more intimately than any other fighter jet could fathom. Cloaked in armor, it’s rumored to be able to take damage to 70% of its airframe and still land with ease. It doesn’t need a long or even paved runway. The uppity nerds running the Air Force have decided to “phase them out” this year… yet here they are continuing to “get some”. I personally think that @USMC should take the them over… they fit perfectly in our “take old shit and make it great” culture.

On May 18th, 2023, while leading a Chinese climber toward the summit of Mount Everest, Gelje Sherpa discovered a stranded Malaysian climber on the verge of death. To save the climber’s life, Gelje persuaded his Chinese client to end his summit and descend to the Everest Base Camp, allowing him to focus on saving the stranded Malaysian climber’s life. He wrapped him in a sleeping mattress, gave him oxygen, put him on his back, and hiked him 6 hours down the mountain to safety.

I’ve played only 2 hours of Crimson Desert and here are my thoughts so far. +Game is absolutely stunning and probably one of the most detailed open worlds ever created +The game really doesn’t hold your hand but thats a huge plus - Having to position yourself to talk to someone or be in a specific spot to activate the animation/action can be annoying as the button prompt doesn’t show otherwise - Lip syncing isn’t good +Combat is excellent even though the dodge doesn’t feel as responsive but I have only done one big battle which was at the start of the game so this could easily and probably will improve as I upgrade and get used to the combat more +Side missions and secrets seem to be everywhere, you can listen in to learn something new. A bird can fly onto your shoulder with a letter to learn about something happening in the world which I thought was really neat. If you want a packed open world with a lot to do this game is for you. +Puzzles are great so far, just the right level of difficulty - Movement when jumping and running is extremely slow and not responsive, having to press square whilst mashing x to run at the same time was annoying and makes for the platforming sections to become frustrating +Movement is hard to get used to at first but after an hour or so it’s fine, think RDR2 in terms of how your character moves it’s almost exactly the same I can’t stress this enough, these are MY OWN THOUGHTS after only 2 HOURS of playing, all of this could change as I play more. This is just to tell people who are on the fence a little bit more information after actually playing it.

Michael Jackson was $500 million in debt when he died. His estate has since earned $3.5 billion. This $155 million movie is the latest bet from the most profitable dead-celebrity business operation in entertainment history. The estate's executors, attorneys John Branca and John McClain, turned 65+ creditor claims and half a billion in unpaid debt into a $2 billion enterprise. The film's producer, Graham King, made Bohemian Rhapsody on a $52 million budget, and it went on to gross $903 million. Same playbook, bigger subject. The whole empire traces back to one bet. In 1985, Jackson bought the ATV catalog (251 Beatles songs, plus thousands of others) for $47.5 million. Paul McCartney, who'd told Jackson to invest in publishing, couldn't match the bid. In 1995, Jackson sold half to Sony for $95 million. After his death, the estate sold the other half for $750 million in 2016. A $47.5 million purchase returned over $800 million across two sales. Then in 2024, the estate sold half of Jackson's own masters and publishing rights (the royalties artists earn when their songs are played, streamed, or licensed) to Sony for another $600 million. The biopic is one line item in a much longer receipt. This Is It, a concert documentary, made $267 million. A Cirque du Soleil tour grossed $160 million. The Vegas show Michael Jackson ONE has run 5,000+ performances and is booked through 2030. MJ: The Musical has pulled in around $300 million since opening on Broadway in 2022. Forbes named Jackson the highest-earning deceased celebrity of 2025, with earnings of $105 million in a single year. The film's trailer hit 116 million views in 24 hours, beating every music biopic trailer in history, including Taylor Swift's Eras Tour, which reached 96 million. Analysts are tracking a $52-65 million opening weekend. Worldwide projections range from $700 million to over $1 billion. Not everyone in the family is on board. Paris Jackson called an early script "sugar-coated." Katherine Jackson tried to block the $600 million Sony deal in court, arguing it violated her son's wishes. She lost on appeal. The man who died half a billion dollars in debt now earns more per year than most living artists, and his estate just bet $155 million that his life story will become the biggest music biopic ever made.

🇦🇷🗣️ Marcelo Bielsa back in 2024: "I am sure that football is in a process of decline. It is becoming less and less attractive because what made it the best game in the world is not there anymore." "If you let a lot of people watch football, but you don't protect the pleasure of what they watch, that favours business, because the business is that a lot of people watch football." "For me, the introduction of technology (like VAR) does a lot of harm to football. This sport has a particularity: when it becomes completely predictable, it loses its appeal." "As time passes, as fewer and fewer footballers are worth watching and as the game produced is less and less enjoyable, this artificial increase in the number of spectators will be interrupted." Do you agree with Marcelo? 😳

🚨💣 𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆: It has been CONFIRMED by a Premier League insider that the exact same treatment Senegal received after winning AFCON — where they suffered a loss months later when CAF overturned the decision and declared a forfeit — is how they are now planning to handle Manchester City. 😳🥶 The moment City are found guilty, there will be no court, no CAS, and the FA won’t listen to any appeals. Expulsion or relegation to Non-League or League One is on the table. This would see both Liverpool and Manchester United compensated, plus Manchester United awarded two extra Premier League titles. The titles would be redistributed as follows: — Manchester United 2017/18 (should’ve been champions) — Liverpool 2018/19 (already correct) — Manchester United 2020/21 champions — Liverpool 2021/22 champions Arsenal would earn zero trophies from 2023 and 2024 as City’s proven guilt period only runs from 2009-2018. A 40-60 point deduction is considered the dangerous threshold that would trigger relegation. The EFL has already said they will not accept them, forcing City to self-fund in the lower leagues. Legal action is expected to begin immediately after this season ends. This is now getting very close — and the outcome will be decisive.
