OU is 3 wins away from a National Title game.
It’s very doable. We haven’t peaked yet, and should see a more competent offense in the playoffs. Health matters.
3 wins away from returning to the national spotlight.
It can happen. Red November proved
that.
We’re not done yet.
What happens tomorrow night could change the entire trajectory of Oklahoma Football.
The winds of change will roar through the palace and we may enter a new reality.
Brent Venables could prove many haters wrong.
I haven’t seen a recruiting turn like this at Oklahoma in quite awhile.
The palace is gonna be alive tomorrow afternoon and I can’t wait.
BOOMER
Walked into Neyland and Bryant Denny and won both games.
Say what you want. That’s a feat.
Venables is proving himself that he can win the big games. What a level up.

A hard truth for Sooner Nation:
Now is not the time to begin another rebuild. The coaching carousel is not for the faint of heart & you will not find what you’re looking for this year when Florida, Penn State and LSU are going to be overbidding for replacements.
Now is not the time to overreact to close losses.
What happened Saturday was absolutely frustrating. Ole Miss is a solid team, their QB is tenacious, that’s the best WR core we’ve seen all year.
But Ole Miss didn’t beat Oklahoma. Oklahoma beat Oklahoma.
We were in a position to win that one. A couple things go our way, and we win by 7-10 pts.
As much as the “L” hurts, there’s still overall improvement.
Last year, this team gets blown out by 28pts.
Oklahoma will not win a Natty this year. If we win out, we’ll be in the playoffs. If we lose out, BV is officially on the hot seat.
Regardless, I believe our offense will come to life next year and our defense will remain top 5-10 in the country.
Winning is a learned skill. We’re going to climb out of this valley soon.
I believe in BV, I believe in Oklahoma. The state of this program is painful, but we are improving.
