Even the bees are working hard on the flowers for this weekend’s Shoreham #OpenGardens Safari 11am-5pm Sat Sun. £8 pp. Hope to see you (parking just off the A225 onto Station Rd. )

Less than 2 weeks until Shoreham’s (Kent) Open Gardens event. 22 Gardens, amateur art exhibit, Pimm’s in a boathouse, locally made wine, aircraft museum, 4 pubs, golf anyone? and “Gardens in a wheelbarrow”. Arrive off the A225 for designated parking off Station Rd.

Anchusa azurea 'Loddon Royalist' has sturdy stems of deep blue summer flowers in early summer. This large blue alkanet makes a striking and long-lasting statement in a sunny border and does not need staking. The flowers are attractive to bees, too. @GWandShows @GWMag #gardening

The Shoreham Open Gardens Safari 2019 is on Saturday/Sunday 15-16 June 2019 11am - 5pm. We have 18 gardens so far, and are looking for more (if you are a Shoreham Kent gardener and would like to participate). Local artists exhibition and sale will be in the village hall & more.
