Past Captains day took place on Sunday The club and its members honour the outstanding work undertaken by the past captains each year on this special day, a highlight of Captains week.

Captain Ian Mann got his Captains Week off to a flying start with a hugely successful Bacchus competition.

Congratulations to our Captain Ian Mann and all those responsible for Sunday’s fabulous drive in. A nine hole comp was followed by music and a fabulous meal with great live entertainment.

Our Lady Captain Jenny Williams finally had her drive on Tuesday. The immediate past Lady Captain, Barbara Coward, chipped over the river on to the ninth green where Jenny finished the drive in ceremony with a fine putt.

A victory for Shortlands at Sidcup GC yesterday with our team of Ian Mann, Dave Coleen, Barry Neil and Jim Johnson winning the match beating teams from Eltham Warren, Sidcup, Dartford, Shooters Hill and Bexleyheath. A superb effort and a repeat of last years result.
