Goodness, what a bum crop of young horses for us this year. Minor injuries and lack of talent puts us in cheap races while quality prevails. Still have a few bullets to shoot and Quietside will make sure Nitrogen shows her class in the Azeri. We’ll get’em next year.

How do retired outdoor horses handle Icy weather? Unclipped and with run in sheds they hardly notice. Frolic in snow. Lots of hay and oats. Freezing water the big issue. Barn stalls if needed but they hate it. Clipped at track get blankets. Hope weather lets OP open 1/30.
