As everyone knows, the longest river in North America is the Mississippi. From its source just south of Lake Itasca in Minnesota, it runs south for 2,350 mi (3,780 km) into the Gulf of Mexico/America.
However, the Mississippi technically isn't actually the longest at all.

After a tough win in last years GIi Fantasy, Quietside never regained her true form. Time to move on to the next task. She is shipping to KY to breed to Nyquist.
@ShortleafStable Unfortunately it happens! I understand you have a big crop of two year olds coming lets hope something hits big for Mr. Anthony from it. In the meantime look at this tall good looking colt by Caddo River that was born to my mare Wiilow Moon on Monday night @ McDowell Farms!
Goodness, what a bum crop of young horses for us this year. Minor injuries and lack of talent puts us in cheap races while quality prevails. Still have a few bullets to shoot and Quietside will make sure Nitrogen shows her class in the Azeri. We’ll get’em next year.

FINALLY, back in action this weekend. Five at OP with Quietside facing Nitrogen in the G3 Bayakoa on Saturday. Chambersville in at TW Sat nite. Frozen track has hampered training for weeks but now good forecast for racing this spring
How do retired outdoor horses handle Icy weather? Unclipped and with run in sheds they hardly notice. Frolic in snow. Lots of hay and oats. Freezing water the big issue. Barn stalls if needed but they hate it.
Clipped at track get blankets. Hope weather lets OP open 1/30.
Quietside training well for NY Ladies Stake on Saturday 1/17. Last start before coming home for OP series for F&M 4 and up with Apple Blossom the prize.
Game 7 of the World Series. Bottom of the 9th. Bases loaded, 2 outs, and your team is down by 1
Nolan Ryan is on the mound. You have your choice of any hitter, of any era in his prime. Who gets the call?
Quietside runs her best speed fig to be second in G3 in NY. Next at OP.
After two big races on turf, Chambersville disappoints in first dirt race with dull effort in NY. Will try again at OP.
Promising 2 yo c Chambersville in G2 Remsen at AQU on Saturday 12/6.
Quietside in G3 Comely at AQU on Sunday 12/7 against 3 yo f.
Last starts before OP 25/26.
