@ShawnHutcheon @DennisTFP Or maybe absolutely having to win the central to not face Dallas/Minnesota in the first round wore the Avs out? Vegas coasted their way in. They’re clearly outplaying the Avs but maybe it’s because they have more left in the tank.

@LaughlinSXM They need to consider long-term damage. You spoke on the show the other day about Dan Blackburn. Don’t want that or something similar happening to Makar. The team has far deeper issues if one player, no matter how great, can change their fate.

Agreed. They’ve used it before (also for the 2022 SCF with COL/TBL), but the SkyCam has been great from ESPN. Though, it will only be used for matchups in Colorado, per ESPN PR (assume an arena thing). It’s been used as far back as 2021 for the NYR/BOS Thanksgiving Showdown:

ESPN's use of SkyCam in Colorado has been awesome, and I have to think the Olympics were a big help in convincing the NHL to let them get closer to the action than really ever before.
