@ShowinStatsSam If you are a run heavy team it’s probably best to stay away from playing style players for passing qb’s and any wr. Or just adjust your quarter lengths to make the number of touches per game closer to IRL.

@ShowinStatsSam @ShowinStatsSam I gotta say - I watched all your videos last night and applied a lot of this logic to Madden 26, and for the first franchise game in my 5 seasons, I held a team below 300 yards passing and won 27-19. I appreciate all this knowledge you dropping on us

It’s a sprint out play! That’s the design of the play, that TE (A) is going to help seal the end for the qb to get around the corner, you’re reading the corner back essentially. If the cornerback sinks and nobody gets under 1 (B), then you throw that. If corner plays hard on the hitch (B) throw the corner route. If both are played well, & you have time, peak back side at (Y) if he’s coming open try to get it there. But if you’re not confident in that throw, then either try to run and get what you can get or throw it away and live to see another down. Hope this helped 🫡

Question 🙋 I've been trying to figure this play out. It gets blown up all the time but I think it's only because I don't know when to use it, and the why behind it. Ball gets snapped and the QB automatically begins to sprint to the side of the first read (red). I only play with Utah so I've got 2 QB's with 90 speed and 90 Acceleration so the play gives the look of a QB outside run but it's a pass all the way. I only run the QB sparingly due to the wear and tear but once I pop one big QB run I use the threat of the QB run to manipulate how my opponent calls defense more than I actually run with them. Before I say the play is broken, I believe there is a situation where this could pop and give a defense another thing to think about if not burn them if set up right. Is there a situation I should and shouldn't be trying this? All the animations of the QB scream RUN! but it's a pure pass play and I have yet to even complete a pass with it in a game.
