The Boys could’ve been better but I thought the finale was okay and the actors carry the hell outta this show as usual. Butcher and Homelander’s rivalry was still an amazing watch 🙂

@YoungBoyBool Gotta be one of the most mild penultimate episodes to a series finale I’ve ever seen. Comparing Granite State from Breaking Bad to this is night and day…

@ShredderGG They had potential after Episode 6 despite the nonsense character intentions but they really did nothing with the last episode. Idk how they’re gonna end it truth be told

I think the last episode of The Boys to really move me this season was episode 3 and the ending scene with Ryan. Again hoping somehow someway the last episode can make me feel something, anything 🫠

I’m wondering if Amazon gave the team behind The Boys a good budget to make the final season with. The only thing that’s impressed me so far is the chase between Homelander and A-Train through the forest. Everything else has been so mid ☹️

Something I’ve started noticing with a lot of shows today is that they’ll have something exciting happen as a cliff hanger and by the next episode completely skip over the scene and move on. Arcane and The Boys as recent examples. Makes me appreciate BB and BCS so much more.

A Breaking Bad rewatch after this show’s done to remind myself what peak storytelling looks like.

Marie gets introduced in The Boys and gets nerfed by dialogue frame 1 cuz the writers can’t be bothered to work around her broken power set 🙂‍↕️ one more to go.

@Sajam Ppl saying Strive 2.0 is including skins but imma be real the silhouette of the characters isn’t being modified too much. It’s something but I’m not convinced the base design can be changed all that much.
