Government gave up its interest in education because school education is headed towards irrelevance in real world. It exists only to make money hand over fist. All other purposes are stripped off school education now. If parents realise this bitter truth, they will choose schools that are closest to home, inexpensive and do not attempt / advertise anything extraordinary. This realisation and action will save you a lot of heartache and preserve your family's sanity. Educating your kids is YOUR responsibility. Do not outsource it.
