The secret to 10-minute delivery isn't driver speed. The average delivery distance is shorter than your morning walk. Dark stores are everywhere, hiding in plain sight. I mapped quick-commerce infra in Indian cities. Every dark store, real routing data, actual coverage zones across major urban hubs, across Blinkit, Zepto, and Instamart.

Last month my intern asked for help with a Kubernetes error. He was stuck on a YAML file. He looked desperate. I make $275,000 a year. I haven't written a line of code since 2017. I don't even know what a "pod" is. But I didn't tell him that. I leaned back in my Herman Miller chair. I said, "Stop trying to code. Start prompting." I told him to paste the error into ChatGPT. He did. The AI told him to delete the cluster. He did. Production went down instantly. The CEO called me screaming. I didn't panic. I told the CEO we were "testing our disaster recovery protocols." He was impressed by my foresight. I got a bonus. The intern got fired. Innovation requires sacrifice. Just not mine.

@ayushunleashed this depends on case to case. sometimes you might need entire set of data and can do anything, and have to implement old-school pooling.

I kind of implemented partial caching today with eventual consistency. Basically if you had 5 items in a request, you changed one of them. I'll return 4 items ( that were unchanged from cache ) The 5th item would have no output in first response. In background I initiate processing for 5th one. During second api call, you'll have data for all 5 items and cache would be updated. Doing this because I need low latency for this api, but processing is time consuming. In first api call for one of the item you'll get nothing, but 80% data is better than 0% with waiting.

If you'll understand all these - you'll be able to get the best performance out of python and know what you are doing instead of hoping things work by throwing more resources at a problem. I have alot of points around python concurrent programming but I am not able to properly structure it into a blog. Example * python is multi threaded but not simultaneously multi threaded. it's all a bit overwhelming but I don't want to dumb it down or remove the detailed content. Would you care about it ? Example content in the image.

This is grade 5 metaphysics. I am going to simplify massively for your grade 5 IQ, so bear with me. Hindu metaphysics assumes, by nature, any thing done with complete devotion will get you to god. It doesnt have to be a singular method. God is at the end of many roads. Including your road of guilt and love, or the islamic road of justice and so on... You see, the idea of omnipresent love, a simplified version of the message of christ, is downstream from the idea of peace (kind of like Buddha’s method). Peace causes love causes peace. You wont know that because neither are you ‘loving thy neighbor’ nor do you feel at peace with your own faith. Similarly, the idea of original sin and infinite guilt (simplified version of the Christs message) is crossstream from the Hindu idea of life as suffering. Guilt is just the chosen form of suffering for christians. Your guilt for not looking after your faith is spilling all over into my philosophy, please take care of it with love. But it gets more complex. Hindus allow for a variety for different ‘paths’ to the ‘end point’. There are Shaivaites, Vaishnavites, mystics, occults AND atheists within the fold of hindu metaphysics. Below Im attaching a video game like version for the Hindu philosophical complexity. Try and go through it slowly. The reason we are not interested in conversion is because we have figured out its pointless. We love you for who you are, not for what we can make you. God already made you pretty ok. And you will find god at the end of your road like I will find mine at the end of mine. Besides, your people perform hinduism and buddhism all the time, especially as soon as they get rich and successful. Your world calls it ‘spiritual but not religious’. The ‘spiritual’ there is not Christian spiritual— its our type of spiritual. There is a reason for it. Any guesses?
Dr. Calum Miller@DrCalumMiller

“Hinduism isn’t a proselytising religion!” isn’t a flex It means either a) Hinduism doesn’t have insights worth knowing or b) you don’t care enough about other people to share those insights with them. Any religion that knows truth and loves people will proselytise.

Wearing the Indian jersey, singing the anthem, and trying my best each time I stepped on the field - it’s impossible to put into words what it truly meant. But as they say, all good things must come to an end, and with immense gratitude I have decided to retire from all forms of Indian cricket. Thank you for all the love and support! 🙏🇮🇳

It’s a golden time to work on non-LLM based machine learning ideas. LLMs seem to have plateaued - they’re stuck in a local maxima. We need fresh ideas to go beyond the auto-regressive next token prediction paradigm.
