If you rip a very clearly distinct and unique face from one game to another, that's called plagiarism because your asset ripping it. @Mythundios @SunnyComb000 @Shadowed_Mmrs I'll give 2 I've seen that are blatantly taken from Pokémon without a doubt. The first one is very clearly just a fusion of Liligant, and the second is very clearly just Galarian Meowth as a Cheshire Cat. There's more, but these 2 are the clearer ones

I think it's important to see that if they keep up with making similar pals to Pokémon, they'll take away from the unique ones

The whole reason they make these look so similar is to familiarise old Pokémon fans who hate the new-gen games, which is not plagiarism. But at a certain point, if almost half their Pals are based around certain Pokémon designs, it's gonna take away from all the unique ones.

Nintendo fans will look at you dead in the eyes and say buying two versions of the same game with little differences is a good investment decision. Both will most likely cost 80$ each with a 30$ day one dlc. Just so they can play the same game they have been playing for 30 years.
