BTV-3 was confirmed in Hereford in the past week. If you have not already vaccinated your stock, then now is a timely reminder. At time of posting, animals vaccinated with Bultavo can move to Wales 3 weeks after completing the course, without a pre movement test.

Continual investment in heat mitigation looks set to be an important strategy for UK dairy farms as current heat waves are considered the new norm. It doesn’t have all to be expensive, but does require thought, planning and most importantly- action.
