@AriWasserman A rule has quite literally been put in place going forward to allow Notre Dame to walk into the playoff, unless they lose more than 2 games. Losing more than 2 is highly unlikely because of their notoriously soft scheduling

I still can’t believe that Notre Dame has beaten up USC so badly over the last decade plus that USC actually ran away from one of the most historic rivalry series in college football. One of the most pathetic displays of competitive spirit exhibited by any college football program EVER!

Here are just a couple of notable programs that have UNQUESTIONABLY easier schedules than Notre Dame next year: - Penn State - Texas Tech - Miami - Indiana Where is the outrage over these schedules?? Or is it that everyone just has an irrational hatred of Notre Dame because we’re the only program that can pull off independence?

@FirstTake @stephenasmith Notre dame gets the advantage because they are the only team who can schedule whoever they want every year. They also know they will be ranked top 10 to start every year, so they schedule 95% cupcake games from here on out and are guaranteed playoffs. So yes, it’s a joke
