I don’t think it is necessarily flawed. The one thing I don’t know that I agree with, is God or Jesus automatically forgiving us for sins, without us asking for it. That just seems to me, like a person isn’t being held responsible for what they did, if a person is automatically forgiven. A person should ask for it instead, and acknowledge their wrong doing. A person should ask for forgiveness and apologize, when they’ve done something wrong, or even by accident and it caused problems. Also, to not forgive someone when they’ve asked for it, and tried to make it right, is being heartless, and it’s not being a nice and good person either. However, there are instances where not forgiving makes sense. That would be for having killed someone on purpose, and the person is not sorry. That’s just one example. I just think there are times when people should be forgiven and times when they should not be. I think it depends on the situation and on what happened. Even criminals can be forgiven if they have shown they are staying on the right path of good, and have done some sort of penance for what they’ve done. I don’t think it’s very common for criminals to go on the right path, but it does happen. To not forgive someone can make a person feel like their life is worthless and like they can never be good enough to please anyone. I don’t think it’s right to make someone feel like that. But as I said, it does depend on the situation and what that person did and why. It’s a complicated thing, to be honest. I understand where you’re coming from though. Forgiving someone doesn’t always justify the crime, if forgiveness is done the right way. I’ve seen some people, forgive people who have killed their children, and that I don’t agree with. That person should rot in hell for eternity. So, it’s not easy. Some things you forgive for and other things you just don’t, because like you said, it justifies the crime. It’s complicated, really. I think if the person who committed a crime is sorry, and did repentance and apologizes and went to the correct path and stayed there, they could earn forgiveness. But, such cases are rare. Their karma is that they ended up in prison for what they did. They’re paying for that crime they committed. It would be up to the person they did the crime to, to forgive them or not. According to Christianity, their sins are automatically forgiven, but I don’t know that I agree with that. Forgiveness should be earned when you do something awful, and sometimes, forgiveness should not be given. As I said, it’s super complicated. But for non-criminal things, accidents, people definitely should be forgiven, when what they did was not intended on purpose. I think it should be up to a person to decide to forgive or not. But the kind thing to do, is forgive someone, Holding a grudge is never good for anyone. That’s basically what it is, when you don’t forgive someone. It doesn’t make the person who holds the grudge feel happy, nor does it make the person who has the grudge being held against them, feel happy. That’s just bad.

To follow Indian/Hindu culture, why do I have to borrow a middle-eastern religion that doesn't align with Indian/Hindu culture? Instead, why not just choose from the smorgasbord of fantastic religious philosophies within Hinduism that you and I are already rooted in?

The Gospel is not a “Middle Eastern religion,” it is God’s revelation to all mankind. Jesus was not sent for one tribe but for “every nation, tribe, people and language” (Revelation 7:9). Hindu philosophies may offer many gods and paths, but none give what Christ alone promises: forgiveness of sins and eternal life. Culture can enrich you, but only Christ can save you. He did not come to fit into Indian, Greek, or Roman frameworks—He came to redeem the world. Rejecting Him because He is not “Indian enough” is like refusing water in the desert because it didn’t come from your village well.
