महिला आरक्षण पर पार्टियों के दावों का सचः आने वाले पश्चिम बंगाल विधानसभा चुनाव में तृणमूल ने 27% महिला उम्मीदवारों को टिकट दिया. तृणमूल का पहले से ही इस मामले में रिकॉर्ड अच्छा है. लेकिन लेफ़्ट ने टिकट दिया 13% महिलाओं को, कांग्रेस ने 12% और सबसे कम बीजेपी ने 11%. अगर इतने ही आप हिमायती हैं महिलाओं को उनका हक़ दिलाने के लिए, तो पहले खुद ही दे दीजिए ना. 2023 में महिला आरक्षण क़ानून बन भी चुका है. बल्कि, बीजेपी सरकार को तो मिसाल पेश करनी चाहिए थी. तब संसद में कोई बात होती. असम विधानसभा चुनाव में तो कुल 8 फ़ीसद महिला उम्मीदवार ही हैं. केरल चुनाव में कुल 11%. ऐसा तो नहीं होगा कि परिसीमन (Delimitation) होते ही महिला उम्मीदवार अचानक कहीं से आ जाएँगी.
