CSK tried Ravindra Jadeja as captain, but it didn’t work out. They then tried Ruturaj Gaikwad, and he too has struggled. When Jaddu was appointed captain, his batting form dipped and the same seems to be happening with Ruturaj Gaikwad. Captaincy pressure is huge, something we fans often don’t fully understand from the outside. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea. MS Dhoni managed both his batting and captaincy so smoothly that it now feels almost impossible to accept anyone else leading CSK.
