It doesnt work on some gemini photos as well sometimes (edited), You can check this, I added olives to the pizza, and screenshotted it. I think smaller edits can bypass synthID after being screenshot. But I think if it's fully generated from any llm most Ai detectors can catch it since the entire image has frequency in pixels, so easy to detect. AI edits are much harder to detect even for some really good AI detectors.
