@UnderdogNBA He made the right decision. Also got fouled, but regardless, you don't turn down a breakaway layup just to shoot 2 FT after they foul you anyway. Tied or up 2, absolutely would be the wrong decision. But up 1, with the leverage he had, it's the right call.
