For collectors who purchase a boxed PlayStation edition, the package will include a redemption code for the game rather than a physical disc, in accordance with Sony's distribution policies. The Xbox edition of DADE is currently planned to remain available in both physical disc and digital formats, subject to platform manufacturing policies at the time of release. The era of Grand Theft Auto V is coming to a close. It's impossible to talk about Shutout Studios without talking about Rockstar Games. A lot of what we're building today started with a kid spending thousands of hours exploring Los Santos, replaying missions, and wondering how games like this were even made. That curiosity eventually turned into learning Unreal Engine, creating projects, and, years later, founding this studio. Grand Theft Auto V didn't just entertain millions of people, but it inspired an entire generation of developers. We're one of them. As the industry gets ready for the next chapter, we just want to say thank you to everyone at @RockstarGames for raising the bar and showing so many young creators what was possible. You’re arguing against something I never said. I never said “car customization was invented by the Ultimate Edition.” I said the Ultimate Edition includes additional content built around those systems. That’s the difference between extra content and locking the base game. Those are two completely different business models.

@ShutoutStudios @VinciRSS You cannot treat this as some kind of expansion and not paywalled content, while simultaneously saying "car, hair, tattoos, and clothing customization are not going to be in the base game and are now new features." Those aren't "new" features to begin with.

Biggest consumer test in years. You can say bye bye to physical video games in this sells well. By the way, some of the game functionalities are locked behind the ultimate editon too.

THEY ARE NOT FEATURES THAT ARE IN THE BASE GAME. They are additional, added on, NEW features, not paywalled, but NEW features that you can BUY. Is it that hard to understand? You’re not gonna get a pop-up saying “whoops! you cant access this shop! you must pay $100” No. It’s like buying mods for Minecraft, that’s a good example.
