🔸I’m so glad I quit this circus. Could never be me. It’s a cross between a bad dream and a corrupt joke. Utterly shameless and reprehensible. Instead of opposing bad governance and the planned destruction of the Constitution, these people are participating in it. I’m disgusted. We need new leaders.🇿🇼

*CCC PARTY PARLIAMENTARY CAUCUS RESOLUTIONS* 12.FEBRUARY.2026 *PHYSICAL ATTENDANCE:* 63 MPS *APOLOGIES*: 7MPS *TOTAL:* 70MPS Resolutions of the Citizens Coalition for Change Party Parliamentary Caucus meeting held on the 12th of February, 2026 in Harare On Tuesday 10 February 2026, the President of the Republic Zimbabwe Cde E.D. Mnangagwa convened the first Cabinet meeting of 2026. Among other issues, Cabinet resolved to initiate far reaching Amendments to the Constitution as contained in Constitutional Amendment No. 3 Bill, 2026. Of particular significance is the clause which seeks to alter the life of Parliament, term of office of the Head of State and Government as well as the management of our elections in general. Following this momentous decision which has significant implications for Zimbabwe’s constitutional democracy and recognizing and accepting that our people, and our people alone are the makers of history and that nothing can be done, said or implemented without their full and informed consent, the Citizens Coalition for Change convened an urgent meeting of its Party Parliamentary Caucuscand Local and resolved as follows: 1. While we await the full and final text of the Bill, in principle, we support the spirit, intent and motivation of the Bill. The Bill correctly captures changes which are necessary for the building of national consensus amongst our people, healing divisions of the past, and establishing a basis for permanent political, invariably, economic stability for our country. 2. Electoral reforms contemplated in the Bill are a welcome step in the right direction. They, at least in part, address institutional and legitimacy issues which have perennially affected our electoral democracy. 3. With the significant amendments to the election of the President and Head of State of the Republic of Zimbabwe, and the executive authority of government, this political transitional process ought to be buttressed by the consumption of a Government of National Consensus. Deliberate effort should be made to include all sectors of society, fron the church, youth, business and women organisations. Further, this government will and should have the historical mandate to unite our people, building a spirit of nationhood and belonging. 4. Each and every Member of Parliament is instructed to go to their respective constituency to, through the respective Councilors, convene meetings in every ward and explain Constitutional Amendment Bill 3 of 2026. 5. Each and every member of Parliament, in conjunction with the local councilors and the respective Senators, should gather the free and voluntary opinions, views and sentiments of all citizens of our country in their respective constituencies. 6. Members from Senate must work with members from the National Assembly in different provinces to implement resolution 1 and 2. 7. The Interim Secretary General is instructed and mandated to, immediately, convene a meeting of the Local Government Caucus which meeting, in form and substance, shall mirror this Party Parliamentary Caucus meeting. 8. Members of Parliament, and councillors are to provide written reports of the outcome of their engagement and consultation with their constituencies to the office of the Interim Secretary General by no later than 1 March 2026. 9. In the implementation of the resolutions of this meeting, all members are to exercise maximum discipline, patience in explaining any aspect relevant to the bill, tolerant to different and divergent views, while at all times fostering a spirit of nationhood and national consensus. In conclusion all CCC PARTY MPS are raring to go. No amount of negativity from our erstwhile nemesis can stop the People's Parliamentary representatives from diligently exercising their mandate. ENDS// *HON CHARLES MOYO* (CCC PARTY CHIEFWHIP)

Frequent elections carry a hidden tax on a nation's progress. The immense financial cost of campaigning and administering votes is just the start. The real peril is a permanent "campaign mode" that sidelines long-term development, deepens divisions, and keeps a nation from uniting behind common goals. #GoodGovernance #ConstitutionalAmendment3

The Chivayo Brothers era of Avelion FC has officially launched. 🥂 It’s going to be a Maroon Passion season for sure, but you have to wonder why every big spender in the country is suddenly obsessed with owning a team. Is it for the love of the game, or is a football club the new must have accessory for the elite? 🤨 Either way, the Northern Division One just got a whole lot more blinged out. Let's see if the football is as sharp as the suits.
