@jack_lesiba @scmojela1 @XFactor079 I agree with you on the last point, let’s hope he gets a lenient sentence if he gets convicted, unless if he was getting rid of loose ends coz some people say its possible that the truck drivers are in on these kinda incidents

@Shvnnons @scmojela1 @XFactor079 The vehicle might be justified while the attackers are actively dangerous. Once one of them is down and no longer a threat, continuing to run him over isn’t defence anymore it’s excessive force. The law protects stopping a threat, not punishing someone after the threat has ended

@scmojela1 @jack_lesiba @XFactor079 He used the vehicle as the weapon, which is proportional to a bomb and guns the criminal(s) had. The attack was imminent. Necessary force - because the force he used was the only way to stop them, unless if you expected him to get out and fight them.

@IsaacKgafela @vesta_mafu @XFactor079 @SAupwards it can still win in self defence, these usually take a coordinated team - what if the driver thought he (the criminal) was not alone as they never are? or what if bro was the one to bomb the truck? Just because he is down it don’t mean he can’t throw the bomb towards the truck😂

@vesta_mafu @XFactor079 @SAupwards If you hire a good lawyer, he could rely on necessity instead of self defence. This is no longer self defence, but is it necessary to do what he did ?? Only the driver can explain

@jack_lesiba @XFactor079 the driver was scared - reflex movements under circumstances can justify murder to a homicide or rather self defence. For as long as the truck was still on the scene the danger was still eminent, what if he (the criminal) was not alone, we know they never are!

@XFactor079 Under SA law he’s losing his job and going to jail! The law will say he was no longer a threat why drive over him.

@bongzmessi @XFactor079 Justified murder - he acted in self defence, had he stepped out of the truck and shot the criminal who was already on the ground multiple times maybe that would be murder.

@XFactor079 I don't know if it was adrenaline pumping but the driver didn't rationalize that action. The crowd was happy yes...social media will cheer but, if law applied, he'd have committed murder. There will be hashtags in his support but in the end, a conviction and a new driver hired.

@kingsolomo_ @XFactor079 No longer in danger? How would he know that while inside the vehicle, what if the criminal was not alone as they never are? The danger existed for as long as the truck was still at the scene unbombed!

@XFactor079 The driver should have drive away, since they were no longer in danger, by doing that, if that person dies, he will be arrested and get charged with murder, the driver is stupid

@VukaKhondlo @XFactor079 Self defence!! He had to ensure the danger is neutralised before stepping out of the vehicle. Given the stats, these are prevalent and in most of them - the drivers suffer death or injuries. No driver will see a jail cell.

@XFactor079 Driver goes to cells today for murder. New driver hired tomorrow. Business does not hire a lawyer or offer money to defend driver. Driver convicted. Business goes on. No single visit from business owners the whole sentence.

14 years later, iFani drops the “Shake” remix.😳😳😳 Can you hear any real difference from the original, or is it just nostalgia doing the heavy lifting? Is this a banger, or should he have left it in the past & moved on?🤷‍♀️
