@Oli900009 @nosmh_x @Chelsearory @Rory_Talks_Ball As much as I hate Spu*s, there’s an element of respect here, and they were a bigger club waaaay before that other lot even woke up. It may have changed in recent years because the game’s gone but you think Chelsea would have regularly got 60,000 to watch relegation candidates?!

I was so upset at the prospect of Arsenal winning the league but if Tottenham go down, it doesn’t matter anymore, nothing matters. This season immediately becomes a great year, a historic year. One I’ll cherish and tell my grandchildren about…

@nosmh_x @DarkestJonatha1 @peinits @Chelsearory @Rory_Talks_Ball It’s really not how football works mate. Chelsea from a different part of the city and no real rivalry for 100 years. Yes, recent silverware for their franchise or whatever they are, but that means nothing compared to Sp*rs. Nobody properly supports a club for its success either.

@GoonerGirl1969 I wanted City to win each title they were going for against Liverpool. Just my old school take but City winning stuff (and similar with Chelsea) means very little to most football neutrals. Shrug your shoulders and move on, whereas some clubs winning things hurts/matters.

You know what Millwall/Leeds sing.. 'No one likes us, but we don't care' Well that's how I'm feeling. Apart from Spurs why on earth would anyone else want City to win the league over us. More than 115 charges hanging over them but yet rival fans want them to win it. Madness.

@KieranMaguire Wanted to do it all but have had to settle for the Boston/New York games so far. We knew how lucky we were last summer in Germany (and in 2006) as it was such a great trip. Still looking forward to it but blow for the fans, team and atmosphere that we create at tournaments 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

@FlyEmiratesDnl @DailyXbanger @Morris_Monye You’re fighting a losing battle online mate although now these people are actually at games too 😫 Football is in the mud. Can’t believe one said overconfidence haha. I know football can be complex but how can people watch the same thing but see/understand it so differently? Mad.

@GoonerGirl1969 Happens often in every game. Also, Jesus coming on meant he started doing his playing wherever he wants (passive floating until the goal), we didn’t have anyone up top pressuring or stretching the game and we dropped so deep. But somehow nobody sees these things. +3 thankfully 🙏

@henrywinter Booked Boston and New York for now, as you say, very difficult to plan, outlay, justify the whole tournament. The FA/other nations should be worried longer term. Will hit them too as where’s the incentive to travel home and away for friendlies/qualifiers if this is our reward?!

Let’s hope the FA takes up the ticket price fight with Fifa on behalf of the thousands of England fans wanting to go to the World Cup. £5,000 for all eight games if* (*big if*) England reach final is unconscionable. It’s actually immoral. The FA can surely see that. Thomas Tuchel’s team need as many supporters behind them as possible, especially members of the England Supporters Travel Club, backing the team in the difficult moments that lie in store. I know fans, some top cappers, just going for a couple of games now, not even the full group stage, because of the cost – tickets, internal travel, accommodation, taxes, etc. Fistfuls of dollars. Bagfulls of debts. As well as greed, it’s also naivety by Fifa. Pricing out real fans risks problems with segregation. Plus the atmosphere will be diluted if many of the usual noise-bringers are priced out. TV will hate that. It pays Fifa fortunes for atmosphere generated by supporters. Fifa argues that money gets ploughed back into the game. But why alienate those who help make the game special? Imagine if there are empty seats as at the Club World Cup. Fifa forgets Jock Stein’s great maxim. “Football without fans is nothing.” So treat them properly, not as cash machines. Otherwise, World Cup 2026 risks becoming the Corporate Games. The FA rarely stands up to Fifa nowadays. The last time was 2011 when then chairman David Bernstein stood up to Sepp Blatter. (In 2022 it quickly backed down over armband-gate). Who now will stand up against Fifa? The FA could, of course, offer to subsidise some of the tickets from the substantial revenue it will make from Fifa but really the governing body of the global game should see sense. Fifa’s slogan is: “For the Game. For the World”. Not “For The Few”. #FIFAWorldCup

@Sp1thfc If it takes a Bryan Mbeumo signing to show social media football fans the hierarchy of the game then I’m here for it. United are massive and likely always will be. We are The Arsenal, we know who we are, and don’t need to be in some Geordie/Spu*s debate. Move on.

@MrDtAFC You couldn’t be more wrong! I’m die hard Arsenal from north London and want nothing more than a Spurs win. Utd fans are unbearable, and if Utd get into the UCL, they’ll sign our transfer targets 😒

No Arsenal fan should want Spurs to win tonight. If you do not understand the rivalry, you have not been educated properly. I want to see tears, I want to feel their pain, and I want Man United to stuff them. If you want anything else, you are not Arsenal.

@jamesreuben Yeah the passive stuff has been there from the outset this season. We were getting results and scoring goals so it was like fighting against the stats, but anyone that watches us also knew we weren’t quite there. The spontaneous side was taken away. Great side and still growing🤞

@SiMelluish We are an exceptional team. But indeed things haven’t gone our way and have just missed that spark this season. Too passive and we just ran out of players.

Liverpool are worthy champions. Forget playing the victims,we haven’t hit the heights of last season which was a hard ask especially with injuries, but we sacrificed exciting offensive play to build from the back. Liverpool the other way round and Salah is different gravy.#Arsenal

@jamesreuben And I’m not saying I don’t moan about injuries, referees etc. of course I do, but there are those so engrossed that can’t see how different we can be on those subjects. I used to say it was just online too but it’s all around me now. We’ll be back but will need a good summer. UTA

@jamesreuben We lost a huge semi final imo, but such is the weird we’ve become it was hardly even talked about as being a big loss, whereas someone like Gary Neville has probably had hundreds of posts about him. The longer we carry on like that as a collective we may fall short.

@jamesreuben Yeah we’ve had our challenges no question and things haven’t fallen our way but our internal obsession on talking about everything and anything, other than what we can actually do to win things has swung madly imo and the only ones losing from it… is us.

@SiMelluish Cheers. It’s the reality. Said going into this season “how on earth can we top last season?”, only way was to avoid injuries, which we didn’t, but the play has been completely different.

@paureed10 @King__Crank @indykaila @Arsenal @AVFCOfficial You’re actually talking sense, rare on here. Would still see Kai being picked for big games where we’ll need an all round performance up top. I’ll take Watkins but we’ll then potentially have to watch all those other ‘targets’ go to our rivals over the next few years. Tough call.
