🚨| Nürburgring 24H Commentary Sparks Debate Among Fans:
— Fans have taken to social media to express their opinions on the differences between Formula 1 and Nürburgring 24H commentary. Speaking to media, one fan remarked:
“The GT3 TV/streams commentary makes you realize how biased, unprofessional and uncouth F1 commentary is and it's so sad. How can we address this F1 commentary?!”
— Another fan highlighted the positive atmosphere in the Nürburgring commentary box, contrasting it with F1. They shared:
“The vibe in commentary box has been so good throughout the day, these guys are going to be a joy to listen during the race itself. Not something I'd say about F1 commentary...”
— Criticism of F1 commentary continued with a fan stating:
“Any commentary in the world>>F1 commentary 🙏”
— Some fans were frustrated with the style of commentary during the race, as one noted:
“I can't with these commentators doing interviews while we watching Verstappen onboard driving like it's simracing”
— However, not all feedback was positive for Nürburgring commentary. A fan criticized the English commentators:
“The English commentators for the N24 are so bad… I've been having the #3 onboard on with the general English commentary on a second screen and the amount of utter nonsense that's spouted the last few hours is crazy…”
— The debate extended to the nature of racing itself, with one fan expressing:
“I gotta say... Watching the Nürburgring 24h is more enjoyable than F1. Uninterrupted racing without 40 camera changes in a minute, relaxed commentary and real engine sounds...”
— Max Verstappen, participating in the Nürburgring 24H, also weighed in on the discussion, emphasizing the essence of racing:
“Take a good look. This is real motor racing. V8 engine, no battery concerns, no superclipping, and plenty of natural overtakes.”
— Another fan echoed Verstappen's sentiment, focusing on the excitement of the race:
“Great overtakes, code browns and over-excited commentators. Showed F1 that the fun of racing is driving a car, not managing it.”

@VerstappenCOM Last year’s Ferrari 296 was at least reliable! This Mercedes sucks!

@wearetherace The Brishit media trying hard to make it seem like it was a Brishit driver (the spineless one) who drove the changes to the Power Unit regulations and not the Dutch one.

There's a worst-case scenario with #F1's rules that can leave drivers at the "mercy" of what the engine delivers - essentially leading to them completing accidental overtakes ➡️ the-race.com/formula-1/f1-2…

🚨BREAKING | F1 journalists release statement after Max Verstappen ban:
— F1 journalists have urged the FIA to "open dialogue" with teams and media following a perceived "deterioration" in relations during the Japanese Grand Prix weekend. This call comes after Max Verstappen banned a journalist from his pre-race press conference at Suzuka.
— Verstappen interrupted the session, ordering Guardian F1 correspondent Giles Richards to leave, citing Richards' demeanor in a previous press conference as the reason. Richards has since faced severe online abuse, with other journalists defending him also receiving backlash.
— The F1 Media Advisory Council, consisting of senior F1 journalists, has engaged in discussions with the FIA about the incident. The FIA is expected to address the issue with Red Bull.
— The Italian Automotive Journalists Association (UIGA) expressed "deep concern" over the events at Suzuka, stating:
“Verbal abuse and a climate of hostility directed at journalists and photographers are unacceptable and break down the fundamental principles of professional respect and press freedom.”
“The testimonies of those present challenge some of the widespread narratives, which risk damaging the professional reputation of media workers.”
“At the same time, tensions between drivers and photographers risk leading to increasingly restrictive measures that disproportionately affect the work of the press.”
“Mutual respect is essential, but it must not limit the media's right to report freely and independently.”
“UIGA, therefore, calls on the FIA to open a dialogue with all parties involved - from media representatives to teams - to prevent any further deterioration in working conditions and access to information.”
“A free, respected and protected press is not an ancillary matter, but a fundamental pillar of transparency and credibility in all sports, including Formula 1.”

@cytrusf1 Idk if it’s actually possible, but Mercedes might be also exploiting software tricks with the engine. Maybe harvesting more but it’s showing within limits? Something Ferrari did with the fuel flow meter. If it’s possible to do it with fuel, I’m pretty sure it’s possible with 🔋🪫

@AeroTechVH Can you make a graph of George’s gap to the leader during those tussles? Also check the tussles from Australia. I don’t think he went more than a second away from the leader/ Hamilton in both these circumstances

@VerstappenCOM The “+2” separately is for the Mercedes drivers who “love the car and love the engine” 🥴
