@flurryfrenzy I don’t have anything against the way they animate the show now because that’s impressive in it’s own right, but in my opinion, the old art style accompanied with the new animation technology that wasn’t available in the early 2000s is the best the show has looked.

@gumballtakes He is definitely the best written dumb father in media. There’s an understanding for why he didn’t turn out the brightest because his mom screwed him over with her parenting style and you can tell he loves his kids compared to other similar characters like Mr. Turner for example.

This episode is one of my favorite performances from Clancy Brown and Mr. Lawrence as Krabs and Plankton. The whole episode is just pure interpersonal drama and I love it. Love this flavor of cartoon where the characters are taken kind of seriously but the drawings are still fun
