@ryan_furina6 The death could've easily been a plan, based on the way Pierro keeps the chess piece on the board when Signora's butterfly flies on it and the chorus in the video chants "Nova Rosa". Also "if Dottore was that smart he wouldn't have lost to Nahida like that"

@RealBlackout03 That would work in the sense that they'd be able to get it out of the leylines' reach but I don't think it's what they're going with because the shades don't have an actual reason to care about the pyro gnosis imo, at least not enough to take it while Nahida isn't looking

I feel like I'm going crazy because the new location of the pyro gnosis i thought of first is the Mare Jivari and yet I haven't seen anyone else reach that conclusion

Honestly I'm not fully confident in this theory as Hoyo could do all kinds of things with this plot line, I'm just sharing this because I think she's one of the few if not the only character who would care about the gnosis and be able to make it disappear

As for why? That's a lot more simple and concrete. Aside from wanting to get it to the Tsaritsa she would most likely need it to escape the sea of fire, which we know the pyro gnosis should be able to help her with because of the 5.8 event
