Ghanaians have been brainwashed into thinking cleaning is a useless job. That mindset is exactly why the capital stays filthy. A society that looks down on the people who clean will always live in the dirt they disrespect. You mock cleaners, yet complain about sanitation. You insult the job, then cry about the mess. No nation becomes clean by shaming the hands that keep it clean.

We are 28x above the limit. Mercury and cyanide from galamsey are linked to kidney failure, birth defects and cancer in mining communities. Experts say Ghana could be importing water by 2030.
