I enjoyed this video, but I couldn't help feeling sad watching how long it took the driver to get from Lagos to Abuja. The distance between Lagos and Abuja is about 530 km, yet the journey took two days. For comparison, the distance between Montreal and Toronto is about 546 km, and the drive takes roughly 5 hours and 30 minutes. Earlier this year, my friends drove from Toronto to visit me in Montreal and returned home the very same day. The contrast is hard to ignore. The Nigerian government needs to do better. Providing safe, reliable roads in 2026 shouldn't be an impossible task, it isn't rocket science. Good road infrastructure improves lives, boosts the economy, and makes travel safer and more efficient. Nigeria has to work. 🙏🇳🇬
