During their developmental years girls identify with their mothers, ultimately seeking partners who resemble the opposite-sex parent in adulthood.
Mick Jaggers current baby mama - Melanie Hamrick had his son when he was 73 and she was 30. Mel's father(pictured on the left) passed from cancer in 2015. During this time she had been dating Jagger for well over a year whilst her father was dying. A year later she had his kid.
Notice the similar physiognomy between her father and Mick Jagger. Of course she wanted Jagger for some obvious reasons such as his fame, charisma and wealth but she also sought Jagger to replace the father figure she knew she was about to lose.
Women want the reliability of a father. Fathers are often their first love and the familial bond they form is one of comfort and security. They'll never admit it but they seek to recreate the fatherly affection and approval that only be thrust down upon them by an authoritative figure, like the father.
This is why women who were raised by single mothers or lacked a strong positive father figure have daddy issues that run deep throughout their life. They are unsuited for relationships as they engage in self destructive behaviours. They sabotage healthy relationships and repeatedly choose toxic abusive men, they are highly promiscuous, emotionally unavailable and are at a higher likelihood of developing addictions. These women are easy to spot though as they exhibit their trauma at a surface level- bright coloured hair, tattoos, piercings(beyond the ears), and feminist beliefs.
This is the reason why the term 'daddy' has always had a sexual connotation to it. When a woman leans on her man, she is telling him that she trusts him. She wants the man to be her rock, the bearer of all her problems. She wants you to have all the accountability. She wants none of the responsibility. She is like a child - @alpharivelino
