Valt het op? Lange leaps calls stijgen zeer sterk vandaag, terwijl de markt niet fors stijgt.

Vanaf nu zul je zien dat de markt langzaam richting laag regime $VIX beweegt en vooral de langere opties interessanter worden dan de kortere opties. Althans, dat is waar ik vanuit ga.

En nu deze versie. Het rijmt vooralsnog perfect met mijn oktober/november 2023 scenario. Wat je wilt zien is een snelle CTA dip gevolgd door kracht. Begin 2022 was een ander verhaal, dat was een langzame CTA dip met minder krachtig herstel.

Het werkt totdat het niet meer werkt, maar vooralsnog werkt het omdat je nog boven de MA20 maand staat en sentiment bearish is. 2022 werkte het niet, maar dat vond ik een hele andere markt na die euforie van 2021! Maar ja, JDB is ook maar JDB! Be humble!

@Basssem666 @SillyGillybert Agree with bassem. I have 680/82 and would load heavy at 685 but I don’t expect it. I welcome it tho. It increases to thesis longer retracement takes. People don’t understand that it’s not a question of IF but WHEN. Could be this week or next. #1 is breaking 50MA. For now chop🔥

$SPY I’m not saying there isn’t manipulation and that the market is all fair and square but this move today is normal.
Price attempted a breakout above resistance last week but it failed and dropped to the nearest support. Now it’s retracing the move and re testing the resistance.
It’ll either reject here and drop under 670 in the coming days ( this is my lean and how I’m currently positioned ), or it’ll break out towards 685-690 to grab more liquidity before dropping to fill the gap (in this case I’ll cut and reposition higher).
Simple.

@Basssem666 Good plan. I think some misunderstanding on large tactical trades vs day trading. It doesn’t make sense how people squeezed out so quickly unless expectations are day trade. Trades like ours can take week then on to next setup. Next Monday is most bearish day of month.
