I think the biggest change between old dokkan and new dokkan is what happened when you said a unit sucked. Back then you said "wow this unit sucks" their response was "Fuck you" Now if you say a unit sucks some dude accuses you of having an agenda and shows you math

Ouch! Alright, what happened? Is it: - Diablo 4 team screwed up with the patch and messed a ton of stuff up? - all the new players not use to Diablo don’t like a change that’s usually normal? - something totally new?

@Havohei They didn’t play test anything. The fact they initially nerfed paragons by 50-70% shows that lol

@SillyNolar Every time they make these kind of major changes this early (2mons), I think to myself… what did they do in the beta/alpha testing. Nerfing this much of the basics, shows a huge disconnect 🤷‍♂️

@rickhfox @Nasdorachi I don’t know if you’re earning 12k+ credits a week to get ready when you’re screwed over again. And even though those leaks show they have a schedule for the spotlight cache rotation, they’re subject to change. Could be back to back weeks of new cards you want.

@SillyNolar @Nasdorachi It screwed me *this time* lmao. I had the worst possible outcome to get what I wanted. And because I saved ahead of time, by the time something else worth having drops, I’ll have plenty of caches to use on it.

The worst part about the spotlight cache is that it feels like they found a way to sneak back in the terrible gacha the game had in beta. They just tied it to credits instead of gold and gave it a time limit of 1 week over 1 month

@rickhfox @Nasdorachi We can agree to disagree but i am gonna bet that when you plan enough but rng screws you, it will be a struggle at that point for you. And collector tokens were great IF they stuck to the series drop as they intended. All of these system changes are here to get more $$$

You’ve gone from a system where it was impossible to get enough collector tokens without dropping crazy cash on the game to one where with the slightest bit of planning you can get any new card you want. And because that’s so much easier your tokens are a backup if you need them at all.
