This time of year, with the trees still mostly bare, the sunlight creates light and shadow across the misty lake

The rising sun starts to warm the reeds on the lake. Shot with the Sony 300mm f2.8 (fab lens!)

The night before there had been a fair bit of rain and water clung to the branches in the morning, glistening like diamonds in the sunlight

Good weather conditions led to a good bit of mist on the common with sunlight slowly breaking through
