@sean_gause You can watch most playthroughs in about 2-4 hours rather than playing it which can take double that. If a person has a full time job, kids, or even school it gets extremely hard to play 9 mainline re games plus side games.. but yeah pop off

Hot take: There’s nothing wrong with watching games on YouTube, not everyone can afford them let alone the hardware to play it on, plus not everyone has the time to go through and play them. As long as they can understand the lore and characters then I think it’s okay..

@MachTHedgehog They're just kinda annoying and detract from the main gameplay loop. I prefer something like the CD special stages where you can beat them in a few seconds if you're good enough with them having a ton of replayability and high skill ceiling

@BlueComedia good thing the majority of medals in daytime stages are actually integrated into the different paths which you would use to get a better score and S rank anyway that take more skill to pull off and are further expanding on the core gameplay loop rather than detracting from it

@SillyThena medal hunting in the night stages is good and works well, however, the day stages are all about going FAST and using the level to go FASTER, not stopping completely and tracking back to a hidden passageway to get one single medal

Unleashed medal hate is so forced god forbid a game has you engage with its level design on a more meaningful level beyond bumrushing it. Same criticism CD gets with the generator quest and its incorrect both times
