@MonstrousMelon @Gaziel_sxf I feel like the blatant use of AI is what ticks you off here. I definetely agree, but every gacha company uses AI for art. There are still artists who actively worked on this game, a lot infact. What we should do is vote with our wallet and critisize the use of AI, not just quit

I hate Ai art like everyone else, but #NTE is stil mostly human made and I mean the majority of the game, like gameplay and cutscenes and VA's. Am I a bit disappointed that they used ai art? Yes, but if they are willing to change that and hire real artists- 1/2

@Maia_Michi And I wholeheartedly agree with your points. It's crazy how people dont get that there's 2 sides to every story. Afterall this game wasn't just generated by AI entirely, there are still artists who worked on it like you said. We should just critisize them and vote with our wallet

Some people are complaining when I said I’m against ai but still enjoy the game. It’s called a nuanced opinion. You can like some parts and hate others. It doesn’t always have to be all or nothing. Don’t like it? Sorry not sorry.

So I played NTE today on stream and I have some thoughts. A couple people in my chat were pointing out that there was gen-ai usage in the game. I am VERY against gen-ai and have voiced that for years, on stream, off stream, to friends and colleagues. My opinion on it will not change. I say this to point out, I really enjoy this game's story, setting, characters and the animations that have been created for a unique feel to gacha games as a whole. When i looked into it further, its been stated that they used gen-ai for poster placeholders, and random atmospheric images to figure out how they wanted the game to feel that were meant to be replaced upon launch. There is also a random animation video circling around that I personally haven't found verification for in game or in posts. I want to love this game. And I want to play it without the possibility of there being gen-ai. I really want to enjoy what the artists and devs have worked so hard on. But I also want to hold companies accountable when they cut corners. It is unfair to gamers and it's unfair to artists when gen-ai is used considering the amount of theft that is behind it. Gen-ai is unethical no matter how you look at it. Its sadly very much everywhere and we don't want it. IF ITS BEING USED IT NEEDS TO BE DISCLOSED TO THE PEOPLE PLAYING IT.

@Ayanarinashi Stop using A I for art anyway. Because despite the AI used, there are still artists working on this and it'd be a shame if they lost their hardwork because of those AI comments. Protesting seems better in a case like this because the game is genuinly good.

@Ayanarinashi Agreed, but I do believe all the other aspects of the game are being ignored. If anything people should actively tell them to stop using AI instead of just stopping to play. Vote with your wallet, because from what ive seen most of who stopped cuz of AI actually enjoyed the game.

I think not wanting to support devs that use gen AI is actually very valid and should be considered common sense

@Daily_Lacrimosa Vote with your wallet and critisize them, if you genuinly dislike the game talk about your gripes and stop playing. But saying "AI art bad, immediately deleted" isnt how you'll make them stop, afterall you stop being the consumer. Say "AI art bad, change it, or no support"

@Daily_Lacrimosa I am firmly against corpos using AI for art, but like tf do you expect. You're already complaining and telling them to stop, if you dislike the game you should stop playing, but enjoying it and undermining all the other aspects artists put hard work into cuz of AI feels wrong.

I'm about to start blocking people who are speaking about NTE with bad intent. Yes I'm aware the game uses AI that doesn't mean NTE's a bad game. You're free to hate on it all you want but the bad faith criticisms and constant lies about the whole game using AI is irritating.

@miamiamiamimim As I thought, all Kingdom hearts games are available for for 40 bucks on steam. That's 7 35+ hour games. There's also 3 movies, but lets be real, everyone watches those on youtube store.steampowered.com/sub/1000794/ You could also just buy 1.5+2.5 with 4 games and 2 movies for 20 bucks.

When it comes to just 3D animation ZZZ cutscenes still have no competition. Other games are really good in their own right but pure animation ZZZ has no rival.

Like at least try to critisize the million Dollar company, you dont have to swallow shit.

@xrizx_ @arc_fey @m79363449 @Genshin_HU_Info Brother Genshin actively tops zzz and so does hsr, which give you barely 8 minute cutscenes per 8-10 hour story requests. I feel ZZZ definetely has more impressive animation in general, but when it comes to clarity and combining 3D with 2D visuals Wuwa outshines ZZZ by a lot.

@Loominaughty12 @SpringRolls3_2 I can tell you're not a real KH fan because we've never had a 4 year long silence with only a few Screenshots, which were given out because they canceled a whole ass game. We had Interviews, frequent rereleases, new games, trailer, not whatever this shit is. We also had Union X.

@SpringRolls3_2 Bruh they're gonna get 3 games before we got 1 new full fledged KH game, not to mention us getting 1 whole game taken from us. Us being confused about ff7 getting 3 60+ hour long games before we get 1 isn't wrong at all. Its been 7 years, we deserve proper communication

@Ramez05 Probably the most entertaining gacha story I've got to expierence yet. There's frequent cutscenes and the games storytelling and presentation are pretty engaging. I personally enjoy the overworld a lot as its very lively and has tons of secrets. I would say its a darn good game

anyone play NTE: Neverness to Everness? (dumb name btw) just downloaded and plan to check it out over the weekend at some point is it any good by F2P gacha standards?

@gamingguru456 The only thing edgy about Roxas is his f*king orginzation coat and his representation within the KH1 secret movie "Another side". Like I know we get a recreation of that scene in KH days, but its so much more dark and gloomy in KH1.

Roxas is an aura monster but the days movie destroyed the perception of his character in the fandom so bad. like they act like he angsty 24/7 from the jump. brother he dislikes his dead end job and shoots the shit w his homies. for 60-70% of the game he confused asf like 😭
