“Just take all the time you need.” She responded as she looked up at him. “Get out of town if you think it’ll help.”

“Nothing to be thanking me for. I’m always here for you.” She assured him as she gave him a soft smile

Nodding her head, she let out a sigh herself. “Yeah, when I was 16….”

Bringing her arms around him after he pulled her in, she shook her head. “You’re not, but you have every right to feel how you feel. You were lied to for years.”

“Hey, I’m not going anywhere. I’m here with you. For as long as you need.” She assured him before leaning on and kissing him softly

She let out a low laugh as she shook her head. “You mean, I could’ve helped you. You can’t be too mad at my dad. He was just trying to protect me.”

“Maybe it’s what you need to know to be okay with this all.” She said placing a hand on his cheek once he looked at her

“I’m guessing that’s why my dad wanted to make sure I stayed with the family. God only knows what would’ve happened if I was living with a regular old family when I was triggered.” She reminded him as she looked at him

“It’s definitely a whole new level.” She responded as she kept her eyes on him. She could see how this was effecting him and wasn’t sure how to help. “Just take time to process it all. It’s what you really name.”

Letting out a sigh, she sat next to him. She knew he was having a lot of feelings and just wanted to be there for him. “Maybe you should ask him. You know Mason, he would only do things he feels is right.”

“But he was 𝙢𝙮 dad, and he had to do anything and everything to protect not just me, but our family!” She responded as she was getting furious with him. “Or did you forget what the hell we are?”

Shit…I don’t even know what to say. I mean, I know I’ve gone through my own stuff with my own brothers, but not like this. But hey, you know the truth now, what are you going to do with it?

Don’t need to talk to me like I’m dumb Tyler. And it’s something you need to ask him, or Lexie if she knows.

“You can’t blame him Tyler. He was only keeping his word to your dad. Like I said, he didn’t even want me to know, let alone you.” She responded getting more defensive. “Be mad all you want, but you will not disrespect my dad!”

Your uncle? I’m assuming it’s who you thought was her dad?
