i usually think that RE fans might be exaggerating with RE6 being that bad but i think ill side with them on this one because this game has been genuinely miserable to play im not enjoying this at all ill most likely rank this game based on mercs cause this campaign is atrocious

@_Luckyjust1y @RaccoonPrevails The main issue I personally had was the block meter. I dont think this is the type of game that needs it at all. Blocking a dp from striker could kill you since she could convert into a blockstring into guard crush.

A lot of people like to say Super Mario Sunshine is a Mario game if it was made by Sonic Team, well I think this applies to Star Fox Assault as well, the amount of 2000s aura this game has is unprecedented, I really recommend trying this one after Star Fox 64

@wesleytypes @RE_Games @CapcomUSA_ Its actually crazy how much ammo CV dumps on you if you explore. There are over 1000 handgun rounds alone.

I just reached the second part save point of Code: Veronica. Honestly, so far I think the soft locking worries are a little overblown as long as you've been practicing what the series has taught you in every prior game. Conserve ammo and explore everything.

@GamingHeroTetsu Yeah it's pretty bad. I only started playing since the Summer Boom event but the best events have been the more serious ones. Think my favorite so far was Terminus Ticket.

In VF, “The Triangle System” is just a foundational heuristic to ease players into understanding and is not a confining system. Many early defensive tactics, fuzzy guard, throw escaping, Sabaki’s beat multiple points on the triangle. This misunderstanding is pervasive.

For future reference… How we feel about this one ?

@NoItemsEverr @NufinButGrief Kohei really outshines Sakurabas tracks imo. The town themes in this game are truly something.

@NufinButGrief One of the greatest JRPGs ever made. Has a pretty high difficulty curve when it comes to the battle system, gun customization, and map features (Hex Sphere layouts). Once you figure the game out it just clicks. I love the characters, the Kohei Tanaka music is incredible.

@NufinButGrief Wonderful and very unique game. Great cast of characters, great music, really cool battle system. Make sure to do the tutorial at the arena though.

@calebhart42 The combat only improves as you go on. The postgame when you have full freedom is one of my favorites in the series.

So, verdict on Final Fantasy 13: For a game made in 2009 it looks honestly very nice. The combat is fun, not super advanced but definitely can min/max even in the earlier stages. I like the battle theme, Lightning is kind of a bitch (hopefully she opens up more), Sazh is cool, Hope complains a lot, Vanille makes nice noises in combat. I do not agree when people say it's a bad game, it feels much different from the others in the series but overall it's pretty damn fun so far.
