I’ve seen a lot of people complain about Paisy. Which is lowkey valid but let’s not pretend that, that character is as frustrating as like Steve, min min, Kazuya or game n watch 😭😭😭

@MVG_Mew2King Encourages timeouts more and makes game less interesting. Also buffs characters that already do pretty well into Steve (zoners mostly), while doing nothing for a ton of characters who struggle against him

Have people thought about making Steve lose in the event of a timeout? (This might make him not top 1 anymore though).
I do think the only way Steve becomes more balanced is through legalizing more stages: Yoshi-type stages, Lylat and Castle (but he's still prob best character).

Hot take:
Because of how “close” the tier list is in ssbu Steve mains think theyre on the same level.
It was refreshing when bayo and cloud players in smash 4 KNEW they got out played when they lost.
Meanwhile if you beat Steve it’s either “cheese” or tons of copium.
