@adamboxer1 It is a bit of a postcode lottery, I can normally get a consult on the same day. This is in Wales which apparently has a worse NHS than England.

You'll all be glad to hear that i submitted my consult at 0800, and have been given an appointment in 18 days, meaning I will live with a migraine till then 😵‍💫🫠🫠😵‍💫😵‍💫 We have become desensitised to a terrible level of service from the NHS.

The Green Party leader Zack Polanski has just announced two defections from Labour to the Welsh Greens. Sean Morgan who dramatically resigned from his position as Labour leader of Caerphilly Council during the recent by-election has joined the Greens. Former Labour group leader on Carmarthenshire County Council Robert James has also defected. The best way to increase the number of your students getting a grade 4 is by improving your school. Better behaviour, better curriculum, better teaching. Worrying about bell curves and stuff is a red herring. Better schools. That's the answer.

@adamboxer1 Not totally convinced either way at the moment. Seems to be evidence for both, but outcomes on a local basis can change. My results A-C went up 17% this year, but overall pass rate for the course is the same. We changed the way we delivered the course and used Carousel...

Apparently at @ats_euromaster you now have to pre plan when you have a puncture. Even if you have paid extra for their "mastercare" joke.

Interestingly, I think the "trad" education community is uniquely poised to combat the ever-growing use of AI in education. Respect for knowledge, hard individual graft, general tech scepticism, a "children don't know best" attitude...
