@Velkyen Cannot agree more! Looking back, the longer form content has absolutely stuck with me a lot more than short-form. Content like GTA RP, where a story-arc can take months throughout dozens of streams, made a much deeper impression and was a lot more fun than a 15sec funny cat video

Im gonna be completely honest, idk if its a hot take but its my opinion. I think short format/vertical content is probably one of the worst formats that have ever existed and i actually despise it as a form of content. Yes i still make them, but thats because its the norm. Do i enjoy making them? Absolutely not. Not only are they a nightmare to edit but it also just encapsulates a lot of people in this doomscrolling/addicting mindset. It has ruined the attention span for a lot of people and its very easy to waste so much time on something like shorts. You don’t have to agree or disagree, its just my take on the current climate of online video creation.
