Though you're no longer with us, your legacy of resilience, democracy, and unity lives on, inspiring generations. We miss you, but your spirit endures!

2025 was a year of Contrasts Triumphs mingled with grief and sorrow.Much heavier was the passing of my Party Leader, the Right Honourable H.E. Raila Amollo Odinga. Gathered in worship on this first Sabbath of 2026, I pray it dawns a season of boundless good fortune. May our deepest prayers be answered in fulfillment, and may peace and prosperity grace our lives. To inspire us all, recall the bold prayer of Jabez in 1 Chronicles 4:10 seeking divine blessing, expanded borders, God's guiding hand, and shelter from harm. And God answered: “Oh that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” Happy Sabbath, and may this year overflow with blessings for you.

Christmas is a season of cheer, love, and compassion. Today, I visited several hospitals across Kisii County to stand with our brothers and sisters on their journey to recovery. I was happy to witness quality care and the outstanding professionalism of our dedicated medics.

Joined my brother H.E Amos Nyaribo and the great people of Nyamira , in a solemn funeral ceremony held at Rangenyo Grounds , Nyamaiya ward, for 12 of the 19 accident victims from Nyamira County who died in two road accidents this festive season. We stand with the families who lost their loved ones. We wish them God’s grace and comfort even as we celebrate Christmas and the New Year.

Today We distributed KSh 7.5 million to support 25 SACCOs from 25 wards, while the remaining 20 wards benefited in the last financial year. In addition, we distributed fodder equipment to 45 SACCOs across all 45 wards, as part of our continued commitment to empowering farmers and strengthening cooperative development.

Omugusii unity is our core business our sacred heritage and unbreakable belonging. Today Nyamira Governor Amos Nyaribo paid me a visit to chart the way foward for our people. As a community, our unity is our strength, our muscle, our unstoppable force. It is my firm belief, as the Governor of Kisii, that forging this united front is the key to unlocking massive benefits for our people defending them fiercely and uplifting their living standards to new heights.

I am committed to ensuring that every corner of Kisii feels the transformative impact of our County Government, so every resident takes pride in calling Kisii home. The doubting Thomases will soon be converted!
