Me too! I literally can never have enough official content. I’m very grateful EA is still supporting TS4 in 2026 with absolute banger content.

@Celliophona Yes, I agree with that. Marketplace content allows me to get new content more frequently, and that makes me happy. Honestly, I enjoy seeing regular new content added to The Sims 4.

For example, I’ll continue buying everything released for The Sims for the rest of my life. Some people might call me a fanboy—and yes, I am, and I’m completely happy with that. If The Sims 4 eventually comes to an end and a new game is released, I’ll play that too and continue supporting it by purchasing content @Celliophona

I can’t say whether the majority wants it or not, but it’s clear that the Marketplace has been highly successful for EA. We learned yesterday that it exceeded expectations, which shows that EA made the right decision from a business perspective. There’s also a reality worth noting: many people around me who play The Sims—including myself—have purchased all Marketplace content. I think we need to understand that social media doesn’t even represent 1–2% of the actual Sims community. Additionally, EA conducts extensive market research and analyzes past data before introducing new features or systems. In the case of the Marketplace, they didn’t miscalculate—it has proven to be a commercial success. Everyone has their own truth in life. Something that feels wrong to me might feel right to you, and vice versa. That’s why I believe people shouldn’t judge each other. I received a toxic and degrading comment just because I bought all the Marketplace content. It shouldn’t be like this. Everyone should be free to make their own choices without being judged for them. @Celliophona

@FahriSimmer Yes, most sims 4 players do love the marketplace. We’re not raging anti ea cultists. Less than 5% of sims players share your sentiment. I debunked your claim and identified the actual cult in the room. Your mission is to bring about the end of sims for the bulk who enjoy it.

That’s a very constructive take. Everyone is free to decide whether to buy or not, and I don’t think anyone has the right to judge others. I can’t say whether most people are buying from the Marketplace or not, but it’s clear that Electronic Arts’s expectations have been met and that they’re quite satisfied. Companies set expectations based on their own targets; meeting them makes them happy, and exceeding them makes them even more satisfied. 😇 Thank You So Much Ali 💚

@Celliophona @SimmerBerkay @goopigilscarbo @MintVapeJuice I like to think I’ve been part of the Sims community for as long as it’s been there.I own every pack for Sims 2,3 and 4.I don’t need to buy from the MarketPlace as I’ve always been a pc player( but I also chose not to buy from there)I adore the game.Not a hater-just my choice.

I think people really underestimate how many people play sims and how many people don't have mods or cc in their game. Just look at any Facebook group, so it's not surprising that it's doing well
