the craziest part about leaving the sims 2 for months? how fast it takes me back like I was never gone. one loading screen and i’m basically 14 again 😂😂😂

i’ve accepted that half my personality is just sims 2 build mode and good lighting

barely use this app anymore but the drafts have been piling up so here we are lol

(and I did and still have plenty of those lmfao) 🫠

the older i get, the more i realize the sims 2 was not a game to me, it was architecture school for people with abandonment issues

Sitting in a bare room. There are totes everywhere. I’m closing on my first house on Friday?! Crying because it feels like the end of one life chapter, and the beginning of every Sims build dream I’ve ever had.. Bittersweet as hell 😭❤️ Damn, I did that… I’m emotional

Not to get too emotional on twitter (I will always call it twitter - millennial in me) but all those Sims 2 houses apparently meant something lol it’s all coming to fruition and I’m proud as fuck of myself! Can you blame me? 🥲

Anywho, I hope all of you are doing well. If you’re still here.. living, breathing, or maybe even thriving through these chaotic times we’re living in, I’m proud af of you. Keep going, friend. 🫶🏼

I will say, I’m happy to finally be making the money I deserve at work. The financial security has been nice. I am also blessed to be playing in 5 different bands that value my presence and talent. And like, I know the rest will resolve… just gets heavy sometimes, ya know? ❤️‍🩹

I’d love to consistently stream & play The Sims but, man… Life’s kicking me in the ass lately. If it’s not work, it’s relationship stress… if not relationships, it’s family.. if not family it’s my health. What I would do to be 21 again with endless energy & little stress. 🫠
