@JMeservey The US killed over 1 million Iraqis over WMDs that did not exist. It is fascinating how white people will do far worse and more horrific things and still consider themselves morally superior

"Malians Tell Of Torture And Killings By Army, Russian Fighters." The Russian theory of counterinsurgency--unleash such brutality against civilians that they don't dare support the insurgents--is guaranteed to fail in Mali and the rest of the Sahel. It worked after a fashion in Chechnya because they Russians had enough firepower to devastate the area, but they have nothing comparable in the Sahel which is far larger and has far different physical and human terrain. Nonetheless, the "pan-Africanist" types will still blame the US and Europe for the inevitable failure.

Langa is over 100 years old, it’s right at the foot of the mountain, and it still looks like that. What makes you think the people who’ve neglected it all these years have plans to improve Dobsonville and Alex?”

@Christo64486953 @Rahul_AJ_1990 No, if the DA cared, they would call for the end of tenders, but they just want to advantage white people. We see through your lies a propaganda

@Rahul_AJ_1990 The DAs Economic Inclusion Bill for all is what is needed. Not a doubling down or more aggressive approach on the policies you admit have failed.

White South Africans lead a fantastic life, by all accounts. Not above average, but fantastic. We are not jealous or envious. But we acknowledge that their social & economic advantages are as a direct result of hundreds of years of oppression, the denial of human rights & apartheid. Redress is morally necessary. The legislation & policies that have been enacted by our democratic government, such as BBBEE & AA, have done little to uplift & develop those who were marginalized under Apartheid. In fact, systemically, Apartheid is perpetuated. We thus need a much more aggressive & assertive agenda for redress & development. It's our collective moral obligation.

This is an absolute tragedy. Cheap coal energy is a vital component for the growth of many 3rd world countries (us included). Coal is the most affordable and accessible energy source for us, providing a reliable means of generating electricity for our growing population. Coal-based power plants are relatively simple and inexpensive to build, making them a feasible option for countries with limited financial resources, like us. The use of local coal creates many more jobs than imported alternatives do. Judge Cornelius van der Westhuizen obviously doesn't understand that more expensive energy equates to poorer SAs and higher poverty rate. But why should he care about that, he has a well paid job and can absorb the higher costs. Stuff the poorer SAs.

South Africans have been warned that if they don't recode their prepaid meters by Sunday, they will not be able to load electricity from Monday. To update your meters, this is what you need to do 👇 #eNCA #AllAngles #DStv403

🔴 HOW TO LOOT R137 BILLION IN LESS THAN 18 MONTHS, 101🔴 One day, Pres Cyril Ramaphosa, Enoch Godongwana, Gwede Mantashe, Pravin Gordhan and André de Ruyter will be forced to account for taking South Africans for a ride. André de Ruyter will be hauled before a public court & be forced to explain why he indebted our kids the way he did. Ramaphosa won't escape either. Everyone [except DA] warned them about this nonsense of Just Energy Transition [JET], they ignored all of us. Now almost a quarter of Trillion rand is gone. There is nothing to show for it. We are still using the coal we were using before Europeans & Americans laundered their money here In the mean time, South Africa is left R250 billion poorer. Americans & Germans are R220 billion richer from the same money they "donated" to us.

@dt_b9 This is one of the reasons I get scared of the privatization of SOE's, millions of people will be priced out. If electricity is expensive now, imagine when it's privately owned

WP rugby union, as all unions, struggle to build support for the game. Look at shitty crowds for the Curry Cup! The market needs to expand and you can't do that by increasing prices... by allowing a broader market to enjoy the premium product creates the market... for all levels.

A lot of people shitting on Dan for this opinion.... but this isn't a unique position. Remember when Nick Mallett all but got fired because of his criticism of pricing in 1998/99... its basically price gouging because the boks happen to be hot property now...and its bullshit

Many South Africans were priced out of seeing the Springboks yesterday because of exorbitant ticket prices. We need accessible ticketing so that fans can watch their heroes. The Springboks can’t just be for the wealthy
