Conversations about BTC used to be centered around what it's worth. Now we're talking more and more about what it DOES. ETF came and proved the asset. The next thing to prove is whether BTC can actually work without handing it to someone you're supposed to trust.

Privacy is the part of Bitcoin DeFi nobody has shipped yet. Cash has always had it. Settlement systems are built around it. Dark pools exist because public order books don't work for institutional size. That's going to change.

Seven million wallets have found their way onto the testnet. It settles 19 million transactions at six-second blocks with fees under a penny. BTC is already becoming programmable. The only thing left is picking the layer that respects why people hold it in the first place.

Private Bitcoin is the next frontier. T he design space where ZK meets Bitcoin is almost entirely unexplored. That's where we're looking.

Bitcoin DeFi shouldn't require you to trust anyone new. That's the entire thesis. Everything else is implementation detail.

Bitcoin as money and Bitcoin as collateral are two completely different infrastructure problems. Money needs speed, privacy, and low fees. Collateral needs programmability, composability, and settlement guarantees. If you're building Bitcoin infrastructure and you can't say which one you optimize for, you're optimizing for neither.

99.4% of Bitcoin's $1.4 trillion supply is sitting idle. Not because there's no demand. Goldman just filed a Bitcoin Premium Income ETF. Strategy bought 7,000 BTC in two hours. Institutions are building complex financial engineering just to extract yield from custodied BTC. The demand is HUGE. The infrastructure just isn't there yet. Every path into Bitcoin DeFi asks you to hand over your BTC to a custodian or a federation. You get a synthetic token in return and call it productive BTC, but you have to give up the thing that makes BTC valuable in the first place: you don't need to trust anyone. We're building the execution layer where BTC is programmable without leaving Bitcoin's security model. No wrappers, no routing through a second chain's consensus, no new trust assumptions. Bitcoin deserves infrastructure that respects why people hold it.

Goldman filing a Bitcoin income ETF tells you everything. but, they still need a custodian, an options desk, and a covered-call overlay to generate yield on Bitcoin. Or you could just... build it natively.

JUST IN: @GoldmanSachs files with the SEC to launch a $BTC Premium Income ETF.

You can send Bitcoin to anyone without permission. You just can't do it without everyone watching. That's a problem worth solving.

70% of institutions are increasing Bitcoin allocations in 2026. Most of that Bitcoin will sit in custody earning nothing. The infrastructure for productive Bitcoin that doesn't require a bank or a custodian barely exists. That gap is what the next five years are about.

More people will own Bitcoin this year than ever before. Schwab, BlackRock, Square are making sure of that. Almost none of them will have a way to earn yield on it without trusting someone else with their keys. Ownership is the easy part. We're taking care of the hard part.

The x402 Foundation just launched as an open standard for AI agent payments, backed by Google, Stripe, Visa, Cloudflare, and AWS. Every implementation defaults to stablecoins that can be frozen. The hardest money on the internet (BTC) hidn't even in the conversation yet.

Bitcoin’s greatest feature is it’s sovereignty. Extending BTC shouldn’t reintroduce custodians, issuers, or permissioned control. zBTC follows Bitcoin’s original ethos: trust-minimized, and protocol-enforced. We're just making it portable across chains, without preference or permission.

Bitcoin has two major problems. Quantum computing will eventually break its cryptography. And every transaction is public, forever. Most of the industry is treating these as separate issues. They're not. We're cooking up something that solves both...

Most people don't realise, the biggest risk in Bitcoin DeFi isn't smart contract bugs, it's the trust architecture underneath. When the operators controlling BTC movement are separate from the validators securing the chain, you get two attack surfaces instead of one. That's how bridges keep failing. ZenChain's model collapses those into one: the same validator set that secures consensus manages cross-chain operations.

Bitcoin holders have two choices right now: sit in cold storage and earn nothing, or hand your keys to a counterparty and earn yield. Neither of these options actually honor what Bitcoin was designed to do. The infrastructure between those two extremes barely exists yet.

GameStop pledged 4,710 BTC to Coinbase for options collateral. Saylor is paying 11.5% yield through $STRC. Franklin Templeton is calling Bitcoin a safe haven. All three require trusting a custodian, an equity structure, or a fund manager. Bitcoin was designed to remove intermediaries. Every productive use case is adding them back.
