It’s really abject humiliation for Adams and PIRA. It won’t be reported that way, but what a complete defeat it is, as an IRA leader, to be so owned you can’t even say you were in it; to have to condemn what you did; and call your buddies liars, just to get by. A pathetic figure.

@SageDespatches Gerry throwing the provos under the Bus came to a head with this case. He basically said, the bombing, Murders, kidnapping, torture, using people as human bombs was nothing to do with me. THEY did it.

The IRA Army Council directed the terrorists in the 'England department'. That's the same IRA Army Council Gerry Adams didn't belong to because he says he was never in the IRA. And obviously if Gerry says he wasn't in the IRA that must be true.

Today is the 33rd anniversary of the day the IRA bombed Warrington town centre and killed my son Tim and 3 yr old Johnathan Ball. Words can never describe how losing a child leaves a huge hole in your heart and your family. Eternal love Tim ❤️❤️

Let’s face it , few in authority really care or understand the impact of terrorism. We, that is , those who were impacted by it during “The Troubles” know all about it and we know how, as we get older the trauma and impact gets worse. However we needn’t look towards the courts , or even “legacy” or “the victims payment “ because we have to relive everything and then wait years (especially in the former) for any kind of decision. In the meantime, we see senior SF figures being awarded “compensation “ from the UK government in the 100’s of thousands. If we speak out publicly, we get abused to silence our voices. Victims organisations are trying to get a bereavement payment, for victims but why are government so quiet?

@TypsyGypsy443 @nocontextEFC you’re right: the IRA were also murdering us in the previous 5 decades; and before that it was other violent republicans; and before that the Defenders and so on.

@SimonCatRiley @nocontextEFC Why are you only looking at deaths from the troubles. Do you think that’s when the killing started happening in Ireland?

@SimonCatRiley I’ll keep that in mind for public posts, but I don’t think SFIRA deserve a monopoly on the term.

Thinking of the families of Johnathan Ball and Tim Parry today, 33 years after their murder by the Provisional IRA. As a proud Irish Republican woman, I condemn this heinous act of terrorism and abhor all those who seek to glorify the PIRA. The murder of these two innocent children achieved nothing and it cannot be condoned or rationalised. May Tim and Johnathan’s memories forever be a blessing.

@JasonReidx Was he? I missed that bit. Sounded more like he had to deny even being in the IRA 😆😆😆 Some leaders you have, he can’t even defend his own organisation in public. I thought we might defeat the IRA but never dreamed they’d be *so* beaten. Absolute humiliation.

@ThomasThorbur11 @nocontextEFC yes as my chart shows - because the Army were targets for IRA murder and lost 700+ to murder (the army killed a small fraction of that, and an even smaller fraction were unlawful)

@PaulWil81875490 @nocontextEFC It shows the big picture, the one republicans try very hard to obscure. Countering the murderers who seek to con the public deserves support, not barbs. But thanks anyway mate

@SimonCatRiley @nocontextEFC What utterly astounds me is those who turn the aftermath, death’s & injuries during the Troubles into statistics. It proves nothing to those who suffered. It gets likes on X

@IAmMrAngry @mccuejury Did your Government order the murder of 14 people on Bloody Sunday? Do you seriously suggest they didn't? Are you on the moral high ground in this discussion? No. You're not. Read a little of your own history. You Brits are ruthless murderers.

OpenAI uses GPT-5.4 to monitor coding agents for misalignment in real time. Good! 1,000 convos triggered human review. Zero were severe but agents commonly tried to bypass access restrictions. What misbehaviour is common, uncommon, rare, not seen yet: openai.com/index/how-we-m…
