This self evident realization that the Zimbabwean dollar is now dead like a dodo will soon lead to the regime eating its own words, and switching to Currency Substitution, also known as dollarization. The current economic stagnancy and currency collapse situation isn’t sustainable anymore, many people are now getting electricity for free, some of it which is imported using international market rates. Councils are collapsing because they are being forced to collect rates using a dead like dodo currency, the Zim dollar. Unless if the regime wants a total collapse of all economic activity in Zimbabwe, the only way out of this economic mess is dollarization. The opposition is also not being robust, I can’t believe that it is allowing a man who has totally destroyed the economy to be a front runner for Cowdray Park in Bulawayo, totally unbelievable. Mthuli Ncube is one of the worst developments that ever happened to Zimbabwe’s post colonial economics! Why is the opposition not going after this man in a very systematic way? Is it incompetence and cluelessness or what? Mthuli Ncube should never be an option for any elected office, it is him and ED who have authored this mess! Zimbabwe is not working because of them and their fellow cabinet friends. We are now in a situation where economic activity is being determined on a day by day basis, it is now a total joke! The opposition must show the urgency required and expected of a competent Government in Waiting by shouting about these issues in a way that is uncomfortable for these ZANUPF failures! You can’t run an economy like on a day to day basis with only 2 months before a general election. All that advice that we gave this regime in the past 4 years that its policies were useless would have served Zimbabwe. President Mnangagwa has shown grand ineptitude, he has failed to run the economy, his advisers are totally useless, all of them! We wait for what will happen tomorrow on the currency front, we might not know the exact numbers of how the Zimbabwe dollar will crash tomorrow, but what we know is that it will crash. It is not rocket science, it is just coming sense! ZANUPF is no longer an option if Zimbabwe is to survive from this mess!
