So begins my last week as a radio presenter. It all began in 1995 when I started standing in on some programmes and I’ve presented a daily radio show for over 25 years. This Friday is my last. Here’s a photo of how it began & I’ll try to dig out some more photos this week.

Amazing to meet the cast of ‘Fish n Leather’ being performed at Rayners pub, Hessle road over the next 2 nights. It was first performed there 32 years ago before huge success at the Edinburgh Fringe. Written by playwright Gill Adams (my right) It’ll be a good night! @looknorthBBC

If someone ‘needs a hug’, then Tina Rush is the best person for that! Tina has a collection of over 13,000 Teddies and cannot pass a discarded bear without rescuing and repairing it. She’s also raised thousands for charity by selling donated ones - more on ⁦@looknorthBBC⁩
