This year my family business celebrates its 75th anniversary as custodians of @castletaunton - a precious @visit_taunton landmark. We are determined to survive in spite of @RachelReevesMP & @Keir_Starmer iniquitous tax raid.

I am delighted to have resumed my role as CEO of Chill Brands Group Plc and am deeply grateful to all those who have expressed their support during what has been an exceptionally trying period. In April, almost immediately following the receipt of a valid requisition seeking their removal as company directors, the Company’s US executives made allegations against me, apparently related to my modest £10,000 investment in the Company’s fundraise four months prior. As a result I was effectively silenced during the period leading up to today’s General Meeting. I have never sold a single Chill share, nor do I have any plans to do so now, nor at any time at this stage of the Company’s journey. There is too much important work still to do and value to create. The newly constituted Board of Directors will be taking immediate steps to bring stability and good corporate Governance to the business. We will be working hard with our partners to stabilise our operations and put the Company back on course to create value for all shareholders. I will have more to say in due course but for now, thank you. It’s good to be back. #CHLL $CHBRF

Deeply saddened by passing of hotelier Ramon Pajares OBE. My heartfelt ❤️ thoughts & sympathy are with his Dear Wife Jean, Maria, Roberto and all his family and friends at this sad and difficult time. Ramon was a consummate inspirational hotelier and a gentleman, who successfully combined traditional standards of hotel-keeping with modern systems. His legacy will be the generation of people he inspired and developed to ensure their own success. #RIP Ramon💔🙏

Ramon Pajares was one of the greatest hoteliers of his generation. He was an inspiration to me and many others. A man who cared as much for his staff as he did for his clientele. He & Jean became family friends. Louise & I send our deepest condolences to them all.

A very young Simon Casson joined @castletaunton as a junior manager in the 1980s. Seeing great promise in him, I referred Simon to the great #RamonPajares at @FourSeasons in London. Today, Simon is President Four Seasons Europe Middle East and Africa. I am hugely proud of him.
