Yesterday’s livestream with Chandler Riggs and our creators didn’t go as planned, and we want to sincerely apologize for how things unfolded.
As most of you are now aware, we couldn’t complete a match because the dedicated server players were on was the target of an attack. This put our content creators in an incredibly difficult position trying to troubleshoot and adapt in real time while live.
We know our creators have experienced similar issues, and they showed remarkable patience and resourcefulness offering suggestions to help get things back on track. While our security team was on hand during the incident, we didn’t properly assess the situation and didn’t act on potential mitigation plans, and this is a failure on our part.
We want to be clear: our creators and our community are the core of what we do. The last thing we ever want is for them to feel ignored or left out of the loop. We didn’t communicate well enough yesterday and we’re taking a hard look at how we can do better moving forward.
We also want to take the time to apologize to all of you, our DbD players. What was meant to be a fun moment bringing our community together turned out to be the opposite.
After talking to creators, we are taking their feedback to improve how we run these streams in the future.
Lastly, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Chandler Riggs, G_birb, Gh0stArcade, Mish and Otzdarva for their time and support yesterday. Having Chandler & RickGrimes4DBD at our office was still an amazing moment that we’re really proud to have seen happen, and the continuous passion shown by our content creators & community is not something we take for granted.
@cloakhd@DeadbyDaylight You complain about "last stand" having a clown who can have 40% haste, or a killer like kaneki with an autohit, stop ruining all the new perks crappy main killers.
The 9.1.1 Bugfix Patch goes live today with a number of bug fixes.
With this update, we are also re-enabling Last Stand and Streetwise.

Maining Wesker is truly one of the most frustrating experiences in #DeadByDaylight. I am constantly gas lit, while simultaneously being in love with this killer. It's such an unhealthy relationship, and #DBD is so frustrating, because of it.
@DeadByDaylight please, I beg..please fix Wesker. He's definitely better since the Lara update, but you guys broke Mastermind with the transition to UE5, and he is the only killer that I still get satisfaction out of.
I can deal with the obnoxious "boat mobile" bug, even though it was reported on PTB, and I'm even running add-ons to help with it. What I can't deal with is it not even being acknowledged that you guys broke Wesker/Artist with UE5 update, and just can't seem to completely fix them.
Every few matches Wesker goes from feeling "mostly okay", to the insanely tiny PTB Wesker hitbox, to feeling perfect, to having insane input delay.
I feel like the degrading quality of your servers over the last 2 years is finally catching up with you, especially after the change to UE5. Desync has been a thing for so long, hits that absolutely shouldn't happen, and being unable to drop pallets when you 100% should be able to, since on the killers screen they're all the way through the pallet, or even getting stunned when I'm 5 feet from the pallet, because for the survivor they dropped it before I S keyed out of it ON THEIR SCREEN, but not on mine.
This conversation was brought up in the AMA, and you guys responded to it not being tick rate, but if there were unexplained hits happening, you need to discuss it more. I'm here to tell you YES, THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH HOW YOUR SERVERS ARE TRACKING INPUTS / HIT BOXES IN THIS GAME AND DESYNC IS OUT OF CONTROL.
We have temporarily disabled the Raccoon City Police Station East Wing map and the associated offering due to an issue which could cause players to get stuck for the remainder of the match. This map will be reintroduced once the issue has been resolved.
