Dataflow Diagrams are useful to analyse applications' architectural #security. Today's #paperoftheday presents an approach to extract DFDs from #microservices code automatically which contain extensive annotations about security (and other) properties. authors.elsevier.com/a/1h0gFbKHpCdHO

What a busy week in Vienna! The Institute of Software Security @TUHamburg presented 3 papers at @ARES_Conference 🙌🥳

For the paper, we extracted recommendations from guidelines for #microservice security by OWASP, NIST, and CAS to formulate the set of rules. If you’re interested: dl.acm.org/doi/10.1145/35…

This week in Vienna at @ARES_Conference for the very first time. I presented our paper proposing a list of 18 architectural security rules for microservices at the IWCSEC. Conference, workshop, and city were an awesome experience!
